Matthew Stephen Leinart (born May 11, 1983 in Santa Ana, California) is the starting quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. He played college football at Southern California, leading them to an AP national championship in 2003, a BCS national championship in 2004, and an appearance in the BCS National Championship game in 2005. Leinart earlier played quarterback in Santa Ana at Mater Dei High School. In 2004, his junior year at USC, he won the Heisman Trophy. 9. Terrell Owens

Terrell Eldorado Owens (born on December 7, 1973) is an American football wide receiver. He is currently a free agent. A six-time Pro Bowl selection, and former holder of the league single-game reception record, Owens has been one of the dominant receivers of his era. He holds or shares several NFL records, and his body of work has placed him in the top-10 in several receiving categories, including yards and touchdowns. As productive as he has been, Owens has been equally controversial, creating firestorms with almost every team he has played for as a professional. Owens played college football and basketball at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and was selected in the third round of the 1996 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers. Owens was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles in 2004 after a spat with 49ers front office members. Two years later, he was released and signed to another large pact by the Dallas Cowboys, only to be given his unconditional release on March 4, 2009. Several days later, he was signed by the Buffalo Bills to a one-year contract. -Wikipedia.org

In track, he won the national title in the 55 meter hurdles as a senior. -Wikipedia.org

He was drafted as the first overall pick in the 2004 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers, but immediately traded to the New York Giants, who traded 4th overall pick Philip Rivers. Manning won the most valuable player award in Super Bowl XLII on February 3, 2008.-Wikipedia.org

5. Tom Brady

After playing college football at Michigan, Brady was drafted by the Patriots in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft. He has played in four Super Bowls, winning three of them (XXXVI, XXXVIII, XXXIX). He has also won two Super Bowl MVP awards (XXXVI and XXXVIII), has been selected to five Pro Bowls (and invited to six, although he declined the 2006 invitation), and holds the NFL record for most touchdown passes in a single regular season. Brady has the sixth-highest career passer rating of all time (93.3) among quarterbacks with at least 1,500 career passing attempts. He was named Sports Illustrated's Sportsman of the Year in 2005. He also helped set the record for the longest consecutive win streak in NFL history with 21 straight wins over two seasons (2003?04). -Wikipedia.org

4. Jason Taylor

Jason Paul Taylor (born September 1, 1974 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is an American football linebacker for the New York Jets of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the third round of the 1997 NFL Draft. He played college football at Akron. A six-time Pro Bowl selection, Taylor was named the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2006, and is the NFL's all time leader in fumble return touchdowns. He has also played for the Washington Redskins. -Wikipedia.org

3. Adam Vinatieri

Adam Matthew Vinatieri (born December 28, 1972 in Yankton, South Dakota) is an American football placekicker currently playing for the Indianapolis Colts. He has played in five Super Bowls, four with the New England Patriots and one with the Colts, winning all but one. (The Colts went to Super Bowl XLIV but Vinatieri was a healthy scratch.) Vinatieri won a Super Bowl in 2006 with Indianapolis and won Super Bowls in 2001, 2003, & 2004 with the Patriots. Vinatieri is the first kicker ever to play in six Super Bowls and win four Super Bowl rings. -Wikipedia.org

2. Tony Romo

Antonio Ramiro "Tony" Romo (born April 21, 1980) is a professional American football quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys. Romo's career passer rating - at 95.6 - ranks third-best all time. 1. Reggie Bush

Reginald Alfred "Reggie" Bush II (born March 2, 1985) is a professional football player who plays for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League. He has played running back/tailback, wide receiver, and punt returner. Bush played college football at the University of Southern California in 2003?2005, including two National Championship seasons. He has won numerous collegiate awards including the 2005 Heisman Trophy, but allegations that he received improper benefits are central to a controversy surrounding the USC program that have led to severe NCAA sanctions including a 2-year postseason ban, loss of football scholarships, and the vacating of wins in the 2004-05 championship season. Since the NCAA retroactively stripped Bush of his eligibility, the status of the many awards he won in 2005, including the Heisman, is uncertain. -Wikipedia.org

A somewhat odd list, if you ask me. Where is Chris Johnson (TN Titans)? And Matt Leinart? I think the jury is still out on him. Then you also left out Brett Favre, Adrian Peterson, Larry Fitzgerald, Peyton Manning ... and I could go on. Just an odd list.
